Hello Benjamin, I am sorry to hear of your experience involving your new tractor and how the discussion of maintenance and warranty with Steve took a wrong turn. To Steves defense, I have worked closely with him for nearly at decade. He has an extremely loyal following and has many repeat customers. Numerous clients insist to work with him and only him due to his thoroughness and integrity. I would hope this is the feeling you had when you purchased your tractor originally. To your defense, you are the ultimate judge of the job we do. It seems that the difference between warranty of failed parts due to manufacturer defects and the owners responsibility of maintaining the equipment was not as clearly defined as it potentially should have been during the sale of the unit. If Steve spoke the words you mentioned in your review, it is exceptionally out of character for him and likely can only be blamed on internal struggles, other problems, or just plain having a bad day. That being stated, we train to be professional, and the expectation of being professional is not allowing bad days to become apparent to our customers. I bought a tractor last year from proven power. During the purchase I was told the tractor came with a 4-year warranty. Based on my conversations with the sales manager, Steve, I was given the impression that included a yearly check-up, I would just need to pay for drop off and delivery. I was told winter was the best time to stop by and have this done; when they were not as busy. This winter I called to schedule the tune-up and was informed that was not part of the warrantyI felt mislead so asked to speak with Steve the sales manager. When I explained to him I felt mislead about the warranty details he told me HE was OFFENDED! He was offended I would even suggest that I had been misled and that he was probably the most honest man I had ever met! No offense Steve, but you dont know me and who Ive met. Telling me that youre the most honest man I ever met makes you sound like a used-car sales man and lowers your credibility in my book. I admit, I may have misinterpreted the warranty details (my father was there too by the way and was under the same impression I was during the purchase) but to tell me I offended you by giving my honest interpretation of our conversation is basically like calling me a liar. Is that how you treat customers with problems? You call them liars? I would have expected a little more customer service. I will purchase my next tractor somewhere else!

Let me start with my background information. I purchased a John Deere E100 from Home Depot in July of 2019. The sticker for Proven Power was on the tractor. Ran great all the rest of the mowing season. However, when I parked it for the winter, I noticed an oil leak after about a week of sitting. I called Proven Power after talking to HD. They made arrangements to pick up the tractor and (the cost of $89 to pickup and deliver which I authorized)to evaluate the problem because it sounded like a warranty issue. After about a week or so I was called to tell me it was a gasket problem and that it was covered by warranty. The technician also asked if I wanted them to do a seasonal service. After finding out what that entailed ( $300+/-), I agreed. I was not asked to pay anything on the service at the time it was done. However, I was called several times to pay for storage and repair, which I acknowledged but since they had my tractor as collateral, I would pay when I was in town the next time. They said that was fine. I paid in full the next time I was in town. The storage and repair also included a power wash when it was returned. My tractor was returned to me today. However, it appeared not to have been cleaned at all. Almost looks like it was driven through mud. Tires and footrests and the deck were very dirty. Where do they store these outside? I am very particular with my equipment and this tractor was not picked up in this condition. Next season I will do my own service and store under a tarp in my garage. I just hope the repair is better than the supposed power wash!

I've been coming here the last few months for propane tank refills. The customer service here is out of this world awesome. Always smiling faces and always greeted when I enter. The employees are very personable as well. And you can't beat their propane prices anywhere! They have been and will be my go-to place to refill my tanks.

Hello Thomas, Every so often we have situations where we drop the ball a couple of times in a row and it seems you may have encountered that situation in the past. Based on our records it does seem to me that we have tried to rectify the situation and provide accommodations to minimize your inconvenience. Ultimately, things are better for all if we do not have these problems in the first place and I accept responsibility for the past errors. As far as a tire going flat that can happen to anyone at anytime under many different circumstances. If it does not go flat during the time we are in possession of your machine we obviously are not going to fix something that is not broken. Please believe me when I say that it is not our intent to add any inconvenience to your life nor would we send the unit back without consulting you that there was an issue with a flat tire. I understand and accept your reasoning for seeking another service provider. I thank you for providing us a an opportunity in the past and wish you all the best moving forward.

One star is too much here. I have had service done by this location 4 times. Each time it has come back with a new issue. First it was routine maintenance that included blade sharpening. When it came back we had uneven cuts on the yard. Took it back and was told the mower deck needed to be rebalanced. This isn't noticed in routine maintenance? Then had more cutting problems and they took it back and put on new blades. After it came back that time the mower power was so weak we couldn't drive the tractor up a two foot incline. This time at least they didn't charge me for it. Now it is delivered back to me and my tire goes flat in a month when all I did was drive it from my driveway to my shed where it has been sitting since. Now it's my fault the tire went flat after no usage on the tractor and they won't cover a pick up or repair cost. I'll find somewhere else to take my business from here on out. If this was a one off error that was fixed I wouldn't be so upset. But this many mistakes over the course of a year plus is unacceptable. You have permanently lost my business as I now most likely need a new tire. Good riddance.
